In the year 1968, a visionary young man named Mr. M. C. Jacob embarked on a remarkable business journey in the serene village of Kizhakkambalam, nestled in the picturesque state of Kerala. This noble endeavor took shape as the "Anna Aluminium Company," a testament to Mr. Jacob's resolute aim of empowering his village men. Over time, this small yet ambitious company expanded its horizons, venturing into diverse business sectors and ultimately evolving into the renowned conglomerate known as the "Anna-Kitex Group”. Today, Anna-Kitex Group stands tall as a market leader across diverse sectors, leaving an indelible imprint in the realms of the aluminum-based industry, spices and food processing, textiles, and bag manufacturing.

 

Kizhakkambalam Textiles, alias Kitex, has been ruling the textile industry of Kerala for the last five decades. The textile manufacturing unit, Kitex Limited, incorporated by Anna Group in 1979, manufactures and exports a wide range of cotton fabrics, clothing materials, lungies and dhoties, undergarments, infant wear, and bedsheets. As a well-recognized brand, Kitex caters to the fashion markets all across the world through a network of more than 2,000 authorized dealers. Every garment is made of 100% combed compact cotton, manufactured using cutting-edge German technology, meeting quality standards and customer demands.

 

Being one of the leading business groups, we have a skilled workforce of around 15,000 employees over the past 40 years. Our fabric processing unit adopts environment friendly methods to avoid any harm to our mother nature. We have the most advanced technologies and modern machineries to meet the increasing demand for our products from all over the world. Our international clients include Hennes and Mauritz, Carrefour, Walmart, and many more. We strictly adhere to producing quality products and are recognized with certifications from ISO, DISNEY, GOTS, and OEKO-TEX. Kitex Limited is now reportedly the second-largest infant clothing manufacturer in the world.

 

Kitex made an entry into the luggage and baggage industry at the turn of the 21st century, marking a remarkable milestone with the launch of Scoobee Day, the school bag brand for children in 2000. It is then followed by a diverse array of baggage products, spanning from chic college bags to durable suitcases. Our extensive collection serves both a daily commuter and an enthusiastic traveler equally with our trendy office bags, practical tiffin carriers, laptop bags, and an assortment of trolleys in varying sizes. Manufacturer and supplier of high-quality garments, Kitex now offers a wide range of baby wear under the brand name Baby Scoobee. Made from 100% combed cotton and employing superior German technology for dying and printing, the entire range of baby wear is soft, comfortable, non-allergenic, anti-shrinking, and perfectly fitted for the complete comfort and health of babies and infants. Baby Scoobee baby wears are specially meant for babies and infants up to 2 years old. Currently, we have the production capacity to make 7 lakh pieces of baby garments per day, and we are supplying to the US and UK markets, meeting all international standards for the health and safety of babies.
